Eject Volume v0.2

Today, I’ve released version 0.2 of my Eject Volume dashboard widget for Mac OS X. It’s a bugfix release that fixes some bugs, which I encountered lately. Since its release in February 2009, the version 0.1 of Eject Volume has been downloaded over 10.000 times and was recently even blogged about as useful utility on some other sites. Not bad for two hours of work :-) .

    I’ve been using Ejector v0.8.1 (menu bar item) to easily eject all my volumes, but I like the idea of this sitting in Dashboard instead.

    Would it be possible for you to add the functionality to eject ALL volumes with a single button?

    I’ve been thinking about an “Eject All” button, but I didn’t have the time to integrate it in v0.2 and I’m not really sure where to place it. However, “Eject All” functionality will definitely come with the next release, which should be very soon.

    If Eject Volume doesn’t work…and nothing else I’ve tried works, then what?

    Nancy, I don’t understand your problem. In what cases doesn’t it work? Can you give me some more details?
